And one provision looks like a bid to advance a goal that for years has been a borderline obsession for Spanky: cracking down on voting by mail.

The order directs Attorney General Bubbles Blondi to “take all necessary action” against any states that count absentee or mail-in ballots received after Election Day.

“There is no good-faith reason to limit vote-by-mail access, reject ballots without postmarks, or refuse to count ballots that arrive after Election Day,” Debra Cleaver, the founder and CEO of VoteAmerica, said in a statement. “If the administration moves forward with these proposals, they will effectively disenfranchise older voters, rural voters, and military voters.”

There's no need to pay for updates....like photos.
There's no need to manufacture, OR distribute, cards.

After successfully qualifying / being approved, ONCE....you're good to go....for the rest of your goddamned LIFE!!!!!!

Your fingerprint will unlock the door and all security is launched (i.e. video).

Your fingerprint / thumbprint will activate the voting-panel.
.
When your "ballot" is completed, you confirm that you're finished....and, you'll have 15-20 seconds TO CONFIRM.
.
These kiosks would be active at 00:00 HOURS (12:00am), Election Day....and, disabled at the normally / typically scheduled-time. I'd personally prefer an Election Weekend.

There should be no reason for any person to insist they just couldn't find the time to vote.

well tell us all , whos payingfor them and maintaining them there are give or take 180,000 and you need several for each location so lets say you need 800,000 of your little buildings. now Im not a contractor but between the building cost planning land costs when needed . your talking what with government contracts IM guess you will have 80 to 100 g in each one not including the finger print technology .

There would be ONE location, per precinct. The locals could decide whether-or-not there was a need for multiple kiosks.

They're open / operational for 24 continuous hours....so, anyone who's honestly interested in voting should be able to fit voting into their schedule.
.
They would be the perfect-fit, for those folks who've always felt too intimidated by the possibility of standing-in-line with a herd o' loud-mouthed rednecks. Cars-full of people could show up, if they'd choose to do so, for safety-reasons. Yeah....MORE PEOPLE WOULD ACTUALLY SHOW-UP, TO VOTE, when things are made that convenient!!
