It's nothing new that Limbaugh blames others for his failures...

It's just not to your advantage to be a racist if you want to be an NFL owner...

The NFL made it clear they didn't want Limbaugh's brand of racism to infect their league...

I say good for all those that have stood up to this disgusting human being.


Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh blames others for being dropped from the group trying to buy the St. Louis Rams.

During a 15-minute counterattack at the start of his show, Limbaugh said he believes he's been made an example by a players' union seeking leverage in talks over a new collective bargaining agreement. And he believed what happened to him was an illustration of "Obama's America on full display."

Racially insensitive remarks from the past brought down Limbaugh, who in 2003 was forced to resign from ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown" broadcast after saying of the Eagles' Donovan McNabb: "I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well."

According to transcripts posted on his Web site, in 2007 Limbaugh said: "The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it."

The only "controversy" is what comes from pinheads like our very own popeye, screaming with rage when they can't refute the many times Limbaugh has pointed out how unworkable and deceitful they are.

Actually it's the Republican's that are the party of screamers. Remember all the rude, crude and yelling wingnuts at the town hall meetings?

But to answer your question about why Limbaugh got dumped, it's quite simple. He spreads hate, promotes divisivness, and spews out anto-American rhetoric like hoping the president fails. It appears, the NFL, and especially his former business buddies didn't seem to find that nearly as charming as you do, so they threw him out with the garbage.

Well all I can say is that whomever the people where to offer Limbaugh the chance to be a part owner aren't too brilliant themselves. I mean come on. They should have known that Limbaugh would attract a lot of negative attention, hell he even told them that but still they insisted. It's rather sad really that in this day and age no matter who you are or what you believe in your words and actions will follow you no matter what. Welcome to the new America and it all started back in 2000...

BUT, Greco, the only garbage being thrown about is all of your false statements with no proof to support your claim.Please produce one true and actual taped coversation in Rush's TWENTY -ONE YEARS of broadcasting, NO , you cannot do it! If you could back up just one word of your false claim your fellow leftist liars would pay you MILLIONS. Obama has plans for misfits like you. People who will say anything , do anything , to advance an agenda that harms millions of people. He may make you a CZAR! One of my most frequent criticisms of prominent Republicans is their willingness to play fast and loose with the truth. That's a nice way of saying they lie a lot. Rush Limbaugh has made a career, a very lucrative career, out of spewing out lie after lie, delivered with a blustery style that sounds like it might be true. But it usually isn't. What makes him effective is having a following of sheeple, called "dittoheads", that just blindly accept everything he barfs up as honest fact. They never tire of being lied to, actually seeming to have an insatiable appetite for the lies, and never, ever bother to actually check for themselves. Life is so much simpler when you delegate responsibility for your thoughts to someone else. It's a "Forrest Gump" kind of thing.

Recently America's newest senator, Al Franken took exception to one of Limbaugh's frequent claims. Senator Franken would be ineligible for membership in the "dittohead club". He's smart, very smart, and actually informed. After hearing Limbaugh resurrect a frequent claim, he knew it was false and asked his staff to do the quick research. His first reaction was on target. Limbaugh's claim was a total manufactured lie, not even close to the documented facts, or the truth.

Absent of the bellowing indignation, hallmarks of Limbaugh's approach, he calmly explained what the real, genuine facts were, and served up a brief truth correction to Limbaugh's lie. He concluded his comments with a short piece of advice the "dittoheads" would be wise to follow, but probably won't.

The clip takes one minute and eleven seconds, which apparently is all the time you need to debunk a Limbaugh lie if you're really, really smart.

It amazes me that anyone could think that there wouldn't be a problem with someone wanting to be an owner of a team that has so many minority players... when he's over and over again attacked diversity and minorities.

Remember how Rush couldn't wait to spread this little gem around on AIR...

Dont forget, black QB's who do well, are only hyped because they are black..not because of there success....even when they have them
