Everyone except Hillary's supports have suspected for months now that the DNC had rigged the primaries in favor of Clinton. Now they've got the proof they needed. Though the DNC has been openly supporting Clinton no one could guess the lengths to which they'd go to ensure she won:

Internal memos, dated May 2015—long before the first state voted in the Democratic primary—referred to Hillary Clinton as though she was already the Democratic presidential nominee. The documents leaked by Guccifer 2.0 not only illuminate the DNC’s efforts to ensure Clinton’s coronation but also reveal the strategies used to shield her from criticism on ethics, transparency and campaign finance reform—all vulnerabilities for the corrupt Establishment darling.

Why would anyone want her in c a leadership position is beyond me.

Maybe it is possible she was just the presumptive nominee in those documents. Bernie Sanders had tons of support and moment at the end of his campaign. If these documents were from May, I think Clinton was probably just assumed to be the nominee by most people in politics. Actually, I think she's been the assumed nominee for the Democratic Party every since Obama's second election.
