I suggest you research how ObamaCare could not get a super majority in the Senate, so the Senate leaders had to use a process called "reconciliation" (which is reserved for use with budget bills only), so the bill could finally pass.  Call this illegal or unethical, it proves that Obama just does not have the talent for formulating bi-partisan bills.

 

Both parties agreed that the old health care system, where poor people simply do not pay their hospital bills, was wrong.  So there was support for a bill that improved the whole system.  You will notice that ObamaCare has no provisions for limiting malpractice suits by lawyers - because lawyers donate to Democrats.

 

I think most people would agree that the threat of malpractice suits drives up the cost of medical care in the US.  A bipartisan compromise should have solved this problem.  These are not Republican or Democratic issues, they are problems for the country.  But Obama was not able to get a good bill pulled together that satisfied a consensus of Americans. Obama causes gridlock in Congress.
