We Americans did not benefit from Iraq's oil, but of course, US citizens rarely benefit from Big Oil's machinations.  But slowing oil production in Iraq certainly increased the scarcity of oil and THAT benefited Big Oil.

Nazi Germany was a direct threat to the United States.  Iraq was no threat to any significant  number of people living in the USA.

The US was attacked by Japan, and declared war on Japan. That caused Germany and Italy to declare war on the US.  Your  knowledge of history is feeble and truly pathetic.

4,492 Americans died in Juniorbush's Iraq War. There were many many more wounded or crippled for life. The war. Wouldn't we be better off had these soldiers not died?

Of course, between 185,000 to 225,000 Iraqis died, and the war made it possible for Syrian rebels to procure weapons and the Syrian Civil War has not yet ended. Juniorbush's invasion created ISIS.
