Fracking has been shown to cause earthquakes. It certainly is NOT a technique that any sane petroleum geologist thinks can be used everywhere.

Congress has allowed Big Oil to write its own regulations for decades. And they are flaming off gas just to get rid of it, and allowing gas to leak into the atmosphere when wells need to be capped off. Congress needs to regulate all the extraction industries so they benefit the citizens of our country, and to date, this has not been the case.
