The Khmer Rouge was clearly worse than Israel, since they deliberately killed people rather than killing them due to collateral damage. Still, what Israel is doing is an atrocity and needs to stop immediately. It also is not going to destroy Hamas. There is no way that aggression by Israel against Palestinians is ever going to cause Palestinians to give up their land and their country. Every death causes desires for vengeance.
