well the obvious question is 'what kind of counseling ?' but it really doesn't matter, the answer is its a service available for purchase like any other business. Or neither.

The right to associate with whomever you want to is guaranteed in the constitution as is the right to own property and free speech. If someone associates with a counselor and gives that person some of their property while they engage in speech then that is a part of those rights.

You have the right to get counseling, you just do not have a right to make others pay for it. And I will go further to say the counselor has a right to not see you if they do not like you or think you are too far gone for help.

Every time a child or someone has a emotionally challenging event, The Counselors, essentally a vast Army of Loser Liberal Social Studies Graduates working on the govenment payroll because they would have NO JOB otherwise, begin paratrooping out of planes and get per diem and extra pay on top of their overpaid benefits already, to take a cardboard box and some goddamn puppets and explain to a child about why some has "passed". Like they had any ability to do anything at all. Great system.
There was a time when specialists called "parents" did all this.
But then, where would liberals draw a paycheck?
From the side of the Public's neck, like other vampyrs?

which is exactly why LBJ invented the Great Society to dismantle that requirement for social stability (and all efforts since including this notion that there is such a thing as same sex parentS).
