Did you think that communism had strange ideas about ownership? Then wait to hear what big US companies think about the idea of ownership.

Ever thought you own the vehicle you have bought? GM and John Deere dont think so.

Because every modern car or tractor has software inside, you only receive "an implied license for the life of the vehicle to operate the vehicle". In short, its their vehicle, you hast happen to drive it.

Yes, it will be a strange form of communism where it's not the state that owns everything and the people are at their mercy. It's the large companies that will own everything and let the people use their products at a cost.
There are some companies that won't sell their software, but only lease it. I think PhotoShop is heading that way.
The new vision I see is that companies will lease Congress and pay them in return for laws that the companies write. Wait, ... I guess they are already doing that.
