I know a family from Syria and they are hardworking honest fair people . hard to believe they came from such a place.

Preventing ISIS from taking over Syria is certainly in the best interests of the US.. The US has proved that it does not have the ability to turn any Muslim nation into any sort of democracy in Afghanistan and Iraq. Trying to do this would be a huge waste of resources.

Can anyone explain the film Syriana? The main gist seems to be that the US planned the overthrow of some oppressive in"Syriana" a fictional country that can only be Syria, and it failed due to deceit and fraud. But there seems to be more to it than that.
