I wonder if that is true. I always believed it, but what if it is not? I am aware of some Americans who have left the country for Latin America and southeast asia. They claim much greater freedoms there. I haven't checked it out, but I might be forced to. It is a sad irony (and yet another consequence of liberalism) that my ancestors, like most Americans, left everything they knew to risk a new life in America where government oppression was nonexistent and now I am considering leaving.
