Gingrich's Group Takes Back Award To Strip Club Owner

A conservative group founded by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has suffered a bit of an embarrassment ahead of an event to honor American small businesses.

The "Dallas Morning News" reports Gingrich's group American Solutions for Winning the Future accidentally selected the owner and CEO of a well-known Texas topless bar to receive one of its "Entrepreneur of the Year" awards.

The organization even invited The Lodge owner Dawn Rizos to speak at an awards ceremony planned for October 7th in Washington, DC.

This week, American Solutions sent Rizos a letter claiming it had mistakenly thought her gentlemen's club was a Virginia-based small business of the same name.

The group has rescinded the invitation to the Washington event, stripped Rizos of her award and refunded the five-thousand-dollar annual fee she had to pay to join the conservative organization.

American Solutions ran into the same problem after it awarded another "Entrepreneur of the Year" award to the president of the porn studio Pink Visual.

The group took back that award about two weeks ago.

Righties can't figure out where a publicly listed business in, but they will find those evildoer's WMDs.
