there is a definite halo put over Obama's head that is completely unjust. I wish i remembered what talk show it was on but it was a leno, o'brien, letterman type who did a segment. he was interviewing a group of blacks. in the interview he was telling them a bunch of policies that were actually purposed by mccain but the group was told that they were Obama's thoughts. they went nuts they were so excited screaming how amazing they thought obama was and how amazing these policies would be. then the host told them that he was kidding and they were actually mccain's policies. then the host asked who they would vote for and they said without a doubt obama.

yes this was a group of blacks so this an example of race but i think it correlates to political ideology. people dont look at the issues anymore. they see what they want to see. they dont care if you are a good candidate. honestly, at this moment of time being a democrat or a liberal is trendy. the hollywood socialites putting their opinions on things and it really does affect people. may not be older but i am of the younger voters and i have many friends that dont know mccain from biden and voted for obama because its what everyone else is doing. and i know blacks that wouldnt know obama from thurgood marshall and voted for him because of the fact he is black.

dont get me wrong i am all for a black president if he is the RIGHT president. i am not for racism of any kind but i honestly feel a lot of reverse racism. i dont mind change, its not a bad thing. but making change for the sake of change is counter productive. and if obama was white or republican everyone would see how unqualified he is for the job.

i am not for democrats or republicans, im for americans. and i wish people could put political parties aside but that wont happen, its not realistic. and im not for blaming the media on every issue that arises but it is a fact that most of the media is pro-liberal. its the facts of the matter. and instead of pointing the finger at who started senseless name calling and cheap campaign tactics, why not just not buy into them?
