Idon't pretend tpbe an expert of AMErican poltics. However I know something about economics. SOCIALISM Is when the government owns all aspects of production , distribution and ecxchange. IN that sense there are no Socialist countries. EVEN RUsSSIA and CHINA do not achieve this. SO WE are left with naming near socialist countries. RUSSIA AND CHINA FIT HERE> EUPROPE AND AUSTRALIA HAVE SOCIALIST OR LABOR PARTIES SOMETIMES IN GOVERNMENT SO COULD BE SAID TO BE PARTLY SOCIALIST> BUT I CAN NOT SEE HOW CALIFORNIA FITS HERE> IF HAS GOVERNMENT OWN PARKS AND POStTOFFICE BUT EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMS PRIVATE
