This is a first
The British Ambassador to the US sent a letter to PM Gordon Brown about Obama.
In the letter it said
"He can talk to dispassionately...about issues which touch people personally, e.g his notorious san Francisco comments about small-town Pensylvania 'clinging' to guns and religion."
he went on to say
"We will need to consider with him the articulation between (a) his desire for 'unconditional' dialogue with Iran and (b) our and the United Nations Security council's requirement of prior suspension of enrichment before the nuclear negotiations proper can begin."
When the British Embassy was notified of the letter leak, they said
"We are totally neutral as far as the American elections are concerned."
This is probably true but its nice to know not every other country drank the freakin kool aid
