isreal has plenty of military options to continue the war, but at least the us is making some attempts to stop innocent women and children from being blown up

Don’t think he’s giving progressives what they want at all. We are still yet to see him act like a man with balls and put his foot completely down on being against the genocide. This is just virtue signaling at best. And even if or when he does that it’ll still be too late.
 
And what victory can you have when your people are being continually slaughtered? It’s complete ********* to suggest Hamas has any power whatsoever in the situation. They’re hiding with the hostages both of which being killed because the IDF is on a mindless killing spree and doesn’t give a shit about actually rescuing any of their own people.

Political victories don’t matter if all of your people are dead. I’m going to say something controversial and it’s that I don’t even know if they were terrorists anymore or just fighting for their freedom (in the most barbaric way of course that I don’t condone, but still). Because the country acting most like terrorists lately has been Israel. Hamas hasn’t killed any of the hostages. But the IDF has. And if my family got killed in the way these people are getting killed I’d probably be radicalized too.

It’s sort of like the wildlings in Game of Thrones. These people are treated like sub human and constantly attacked and oppressed and so they get this mindset that they have to kill the rest of the world before it kills them. And psychologically it makes sense. So if we want to truly stop terrorism we have to be better to people. To these people. Palestine must be free.
 
Killing more Palestinians is going to make theses people even more hostile to Israel.
Israel has almost never been hated more by Gazans than it is now, after the IDF has destroyed so many homes and businesses and murdered so many innocent women and children.

Destroying Hamas entirely is not going to be possible. Whatever knowledge and expertise Hamas' present leaders have, it can be relearned by future generations. Until Palestine is an actual bona fide state, there will be intense hatred for the Zionists among Palestinians.

Trump never withheld military aid or supplies authorized by Congress to foreign nations but Biden took it upon himself to threaten the President of Ukraine that he would not get the aid authorized by Congress if he did not fire the prosecutor breathing down Hunter's neck, and Biden stopped shipment of arms to Israel authorized by Confgress.

Democrat presidents have a history of doing whatever damn thing they want to whether approved by Congress, courts, or the American people.
