"Mitt Romney’s financial company, Bain Capital, invested in a series of firms that specialized in relocating jobs done by American workers to new facilities in low-wage countries like China and India". "....it owned companies that were pioneers in the practice of shipping work from the United States to overseas call centers and factories making computer components".

riding the leading edge of new trends is an excellent way to increase the share value of your operation.
look how successful Al Gore was creating a carbon credit business while pushing the now discredited CO2 scam.

Who doesn't outsourc anymore? Even our own government outsources to foreign countries for cheaper products. And the way our government penalizes companies for doing business here, it's no wonder.

nothing new about outsourcing or off shoring for that matter. english people complained that their jobs were offshored to America back in the day.

Actually...the biggest out-sourcer of jobs is BO. He has worked tirelessly to destroy our economy and the horrendous consequences are evident to all with a functioning brain.

Even if you're correct, and I doubt it, isn't it hypocritical of Romney to promise keeping jobs in America when he was the "pioneer" of outsourcing?

Logical Fallacy: Tu quoque ("you too", appeal to hypocrisy) – the argument states that a certain position is false or wrong and/or should be disregarded because its proponent fails to act consistently in accordance with that position.

Romney's business experience at Bain provides him with insight into the kind of government policies that drive companies to outsource in order to regain, maintain, or increase profitability. As President of the United States, he would have the political power to steer the country towards business friendly policies that reduce the need for companies to outsource. Thus, your fallacious argument of hypocrisy has fallen apart.

he's not promised that but rather removing impediments to job creation that will allow companies to be have confidence that such decisions can be fruitful. and he's no pioneer. Bill Gates helped lead the way in technology but by even the most conservative observations this goes back to the 60's

I doubt Romney is a 'pioneer' of outsourcing. Outsourcing has been a tactic of American business for as long as liberals have bastardized our capitalist system into a socialist shit hole...and that is a long time.

Secondly, Romney was a business man at Bain. If he becomes president (God willing, though he is a moderate progressive like W, but head and shoulders better than the socialist fool in the WH now), his goals change. Does that make sense to you? Being president is different than heading a private equity firm. Get it????

Romney will try to institute policies that will keep jobs here rather than outsource them like the Skinny Socialist has been doing.

I bet Obama's jobs Czar, Jeffrey Immelt and CEO of GE, has outsourced more jobs than Bain ever thought of.

Wouldn't surprise me if that's why he's in the position he is in, to help more go overseas. I also wonder how just how many companies have oursourced since Obama has been in office, with all the heavy regulations coming down from the EPA etc.

Agreed, but facts are things many on the Left love to ignore. I believe GE may have been the outsourcing pioneer.

The policies of BO & Friends have caused much harm for working Americans. The EPA is killing jobs with their heavy handed regulations. BO killed the Keystone pipeline which would have employed many just to cow tow to his kooky enviro whacko base.

Some say BO is an anti-American American. He wants to harm our economy because he thinks we have it too good and of course, we pollute the planet and use too many natural resources.

I think they are "one world government" believers.

Yes and how do we find common ground with a political opponent who's goal is completely incompatible with ours? This is why the Rs must show back bone and response to compromise with the liberals/communists in the D party.

Hopefully the TP puts many more members in Congress this November because I have little faith in most of the Rs.
