We all knew a couple months before Russia invaded the Ukraine. Biden all but gave russia its blessing.
Had we and nato sent fighters and tanks air to air and air to ground and land to so on to the Ukraine would have Putin invaded ?

Putin has ALWAYS planned to invade Ukraine, but he lacked the resources until the higher price of petroleum allowed him to beef up his army. If Shitshizpants is soooo scary to Putin, then why is he not withdrawing from Ukraine now? Trump is far weaker than Biden and his government will be weaker still after he fires most of the competent people and replaces them with unprepared fanatical suckups. Everyone of any importance loathes Trump and thinks he is a disaster.

Hate to tell you this dumb ass but Putin had a huge military and gas prices didnt help . YOUR CLUESS

Trump's military was not deemed to be strong enough until he had higher profit from the sale of oil. And he obviously had no idea that Ukraine would be do difficult to conquer. You are a dummy and your ignorance is a thing of legend.

There is a two very good books on this subject - one short, one very long

Provoked: How Washington Started the New Cold War with Russia and the Catastrophe in Ukraine - Scott Horton

"Over and over, U.S. government officials and their mainstream media allies called Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine an “unprovoked attack.” The slogan became so overused that people began to ask the obvious question: Why do they protest so much?

In Provoked: How Washington Started the New Cold War with Russia and the Catastrophe in Ukraine, Scott Horton explains how since the end of the last Cold War and the fall of the Soviet Union, successive U.S. administrations pressed their advantage against the new Russian Federation to the point that it finally blew up into a full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine.

From NATO expansion into Eastern Europe, to “shock therapy” economic policy, the Balkan and Chechen wars, color-coded revolutions, new missile defense systems, assassinations, Russiagate and ultimately the brutal conflict in Ukraine, Provoked shows what really happened and why it did not have to be this way."

How the West Brought War to Ukraine: Understanding How U.S. and NATO Policies Led to Crisis, War, and the Risk of Nuclear Catastrophe - Benjamin Abelow

"Excellent; great, fast read. We here in America have been so flooded with the "Nazi", "Hitler" tropes - that people forget what Russia has gone through - what they've suffered and what has been reborn that is both great, good and quite lovely - and no, we are not faced with an ersatz Stalin, a well-dressed Lenin, a seemingly continuously reincarnated Hitler - and hardly a nation of people, including the leadership - that aches for the good old days of the "anti-historical, atheist Soviet". I will be getting multiple copies of this book to give to colleagues and friends. So much of what we've been seeing from the US for the last 10-15 years with international relations is akin to the sorcery of "The Great and Powerful Wizard of Oz"....we need a little Toto now more than ever....Toto - come back.
