USMC, firstly, I am not one to second guess someone in a shooting scenario as I have nearly been in them myself...albeit with bears. But to second guess someone who was there and in danger where there was something was justified in shooting is unwise. I think they all need to be investigated, but we need to give fair process to those who find themselves in that situation. Before we realistically talk about any action towards the illegals in the country already we need to stop the flow that is happening right now. Now I would not be against providing "amnesty" to those who have been here for X number of years, provided they pay a fine etc. But this sentiment that they get dont pay any taxes is hogwash. They pay whatever local sales tax is applicable and also contribute to the local economy and tax structure through property taxes. This is presumably through paying rent and the homeowner therefore pays the tax.
