This one needs to be in, here.

"Sinclair's primary purpose in describing the meat industry and its working conditions was to advance socialism in the United States. However, the novel's most notable impact at the time was to provoke public outcry over passages exposing health violations and unsanitary practices in the American meat-packing industry during the early 20th century, which led to sanitation reforms including the Meat Inspection Act."

yes some books in schools glorify gay and trans issues , some history boos need updated badly. I would think anti religious type like you would want some books banned.
You being the famous burned out chick choker you may not be aware that when dealing with under 18 some subjects need to be age approved .what ok for a 17 year old is not for a 5 year old or a 12 year old

Why should you criticize gay and trans people for being proud of what they are in the same way that you are proud of what you are?

Should we teach that 5 to 12 year olds that babies are delivered by storks or found under cabbage leaves until they get older?

I think it's been a few decades sense the stork thing was popular or under the cabbage especially in the city's were you rarely will see a stork and a cabbage patch .
Don't worry wokeness is dead

So if you don't teach them about sex, what DO you tell then about where babies come from?
Or do you just say, "shut up kid"?

Storks are common in Europe, not so much in North America.
Cabbages were a huge part of the European diet before potatoes were imported from S. America.

I can't recall seeing a stork outside a zoo in the USA, ever.
