We all know that Joe Biden and Kamala both have ancestors who owned slaves. How about state sanctioned slavery in 2014?

This was a charge made by Tulsi Gabbard in the 2020 debates. That Kamala while AG of California kept non violent inmates beyond their sentences to use them for cheap labor.

Imagine that. Forced incarceration for purposes of labor. What do you call that?

Irrelevant. Many high profile Americans ancestors owned slaves.

As for Biden and Harris, there’s no proof that either have ancestors that were slave owners, and it is far more likely than not that Harris’ family tree includes ancestors that were slaves.

Did you read the thread? As AG of California she held inmates PAST THEIR SENTENCE so they could be used as cheap labor for the state.

They did not stay in prison voluntarily. Forced detention for labor! WTF do you call that?

Show me that definition for slavery.

Slavery pertains to ownership and forced detention can be called a form of slavery.

If a white republican did that you would be calling it slavery.

Your darling Kamala also kept people on death row for a time who had had their cases dismissed by a judge. One innocent man was convicted by her as a prosecutor and after 13 years on death row for a crime he did not commit a judge dismissed the case yet she worked to keep him on death row anyway.

But hey why would a liberal care about civil liberties violations.

Following publication, the press secretary of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation sent the following statement:

"On Feb. 10, 2014, the federal three-judge court gave CDCR the following order (among others): "Minimum custody inmates will be eligible to earn 2-for-1 good time credits to the extent such credits do not deplete participation in fire camps where inmates also earn 2-for-1 good time credits …'"

After fighting charges for 2 years they were finally dropped. They became homeless. Finally the California supreme court ruled it was unconstitutional to incarcerated parents for this.
