Iran is a bona fide US foreign policy scew-up.

The CIA-led, well documented by those invloved, led to the overthrow of the Tudeh-influenced government and the return of the Shah.

The heavy hand of the Shah led to the revolution which was hijacked by the religious clique.

The Tudeh, which participated in the events of 1979 is od course illegal and comrades are regularly executed by the mullahs.

Not for the first time Gipper, your position is identical to the communist one.

All religion is poison - Mao Tse Tung.

    Comrade Stalin

Yes, he did support the Shah, allowed him to enter the U.S, and when that went over very badly with the Iranians, he allowed him to go to Panama. Dude, all of this is a matter of historical record.

I guess to a lib supporting the Shah means allowing him to come to the US after you failed to support him in Iran resulting in radicals taking over the country and become the world's largest exporter of terrorism.

The Shah was a tyrant much like Saddam Hussein was. That said, we could no more have prevented the rise of radical Iran than we could have prevented 9/11. Whether or not I am a "lib" has no bearing on the facts.

You really are out there where the buses don't run.

The Shah controlled the radicals for years. So, there goes your first point.

And, we could have easily stopped 9/11 from happening if only there was no liberalism...there goes your second point.

Now why is it libs can't admit being libs? I admit I am a conservative and proud of it. You libs always try to hide like rodents in the sewer. Why?

Umm, the Shah's treatment of his own people is largely what radicalized them in the first place. So much for your rebuttal.

Right, so your FINAL SOLUTION is to get rid of all "libs", eh? Gee, where have we heard such ideas before?

Sir, you are no more a conservative than the pope is a hippy. You are as radical as they come. Congratulations.

Yeah the Shah was a lot worse than the Ayatollahs...so thinks foolish people. The Shah had westernized the country and liberated women. Most Iranians were doing fine under the Shah, except the radicals of course. And they won thanks to your beloved Jimma Jew Hater Carter's being a weak minded liberal fool.

Final Solution...funny that is what your kind always resorts to...killing and imprisoning all who disagree with your radical socialist sh*t. And if you could read and comprehend...big if there...I said LIBERALISM not DF libs.

Oh I am conservative all the way...and that is why you think I am a radical. You see everything you believe is the opposite of what I believe. And, I am right you are wrong.

In order to understand an enemy, you must know them. Of course, you can never really know anyone, not even yourself. However, if you do see through the eyes of your enemy, will you become him? Or does it mean you can see through his eyes because you're a criminal on the inside?
