People here tend to say that the Ukraine gave up nuclear weapons in return for international guarantees, and I suppose that there must be some reason why they say this. But, after all, there'd be no problem if the elected government hadn't been overthrown by an EU-backed coup. Would the US go along with a Russian-backed coup in Mexico City?
