Terrible Persecution of Non-Chinese Muslims In China

The awful treatment of Tibetans in China is well-known, but Beijing is also guilty of
appalling atrocities in its westernmost and largest province , Xinjiang , which has borders with
Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Afghanistan etc.
Xinjiang province was originally caled East Turkestan and was taken over by Beijing in 1949 .
The indiginous people their, the ethnically Turkish and Muslim Uygurs , have livced in the oases of the scorchingly hot deserts there for ages . They are an eastern branch of the widespread Turkic peoples of the middle east and central asia , and many have decidedly caucasian features , although some are racially mongoloid or mixed .
The Uygurs are a peaceful people with a rich and ancient culture , and abhor Muslim fanatics . Their language is very similar to Turkish , and most do not speak Chinese, although children and teenagers are forced ot learn it in school , and Uygurs who learn the language have some advantages .
But the Uygurs are terribly oppressed by Beijing, and many of them have been imprisoned an dsent to brutal labor camps, as well as executed . Their language and culture is being brutally suppressed . Beijing has settled a great number of ehtnically han people in Xinjiang, and they are given preference in jobs and many other matters .
Many Uygurs have fled to the neighboring and ethnically Turkish republics of the former Soviet Union, as well as to Europe ,Canada and elsewhere .
A number of them were captured by the U.S. while trying to escape from China ,were mistaken for Muslim terrorists and sent to Guantano, but they have been released fortunately and have settled elsewhere . The Uygurs still refer to their homeland as East Turkestan , but Beijing is
doing its utmost to destroy their language and culture .

That is soooooooooooo terrible.

Did you hear that in many Muslim nations Christians are killed for being Christians? Did you hear their churches are burned? Did you hear that many Hindus are terribly persecuted and murdered in the Muslim world on a regular basis because they not Muslim? Did you hear that child rape is commonplace in the Muslim world? Did you hear that women and homosexuals are horrifically treated in much of the Muslim world? Did you hear of the numerous honor killings committed throughout the world by Muslims? Did you hear that in EVERY conflict around the world it is because Muslims refuse to get along with their neighbors? Did you hear that SLAVERY is still utilized in parts of the Muslim world?

I could go on and on, but my guess is you are incapable of accepting the truth.

I know exactly what you're talking about. But the Uygurs are NOT fanatical Muslims and crazed terrorists .
Persecution is terrible no matter who is being persecuted .

true but China is an equal opportunity persecutor of all religious groups. part and parcel to their political system.
