To bad the IRS actuly is going after his organization and him. Also for 20 years this prick has ignored the law, not paid his taxes, and then had a armed stand off...What if Al had a bunch of black guys with guns show up if the IRS came to take his car? would you shit bricks backing him? Face it, the prick broke the law...over and over and over..and rather then pay the fees that others do pay, to graze on land that this prick does not own...And they came after for it. and because he put peoples lives at risk over you guys get on your knees for him.

First of all ... this is NOT a tax issue ... Bundy supposedly owes the Bureau of Land Management FEES for use of government property.

Second of all .. the administration has directed the IRS to attack Bundy's non-profit organization as a retaliatory action for daring to challenge the current regime.

Those are two separate, but clearly related, activities ... the regime is using the IRS as a harassment and enforcement weapon.

This guy will pay up one way or another. His opinion as to whether its proper or not to charge is not required. Two judges have already made this clear. He likely has insufficient assets that do not moo to seize so the cows will get turned into money at some point (ranching does mean hauling the bovines to market eventually) so they can wait till then and get the cash (would have been the easy way all along). He doesn't owe the IRS ... he owes BLM.

Thats all the govt has. If his fines get high enough they seize his land too. Dont recall what he owes but livestock msy not cover it. Reid needs to watch his step. National attention on his shenanigans may exceed his ability to avoid prosecution from owning the state.
