The first raid on Gibson was because they were bring in wood that was not legal to bring in. The second raid is questionable as the origin was only questionable. The question here is very simple, was the law being broken. It doesn't matter if you agree or disagree with the law.

Actually, that's not quite true ... we have a right, even a responsibility, to object/protest laws, or any other government action, that we feel are unfair. We are NOT required slavish devotion to the laws ... however, we have to be willing to accept responsibility for our actions.

This guy will pay up one way or another. His opinion as to whether its proper or not to charge is not required. Two judges have already made this clear. He likely has insufficient assets that do not moo to seize so the cows will get turned into money at some point (ranching does mean hauling the bovines to market eventually) so they can wait till then and get the cash (would have been the easy way all along). People are doing an increasingly poorer job kf picking their fights. This is as fruitless as trevon martins passion play.
