It's the Federal government's job to enforce our immigration laws. Part of that, is preventing people they deported, from coming back in.

Here's a guy who has been deported at least FOUR TIMES, and who apparently just walked back in every time. And now, last week he raped a woman in Washington state.

Every administration for the last forty-plus years, has ignored the problem and let the borders stay open. How many more rapes, assaults, kidnappings, and murders do we have to suffer before our government finally starts doing its duty?

Do our leaders think there's nothing wrong with letting anyone who can walk, back into the country time after time?

EDMONDS, Wash. – The man accused of raping a woman behind an Edmonds grocery store has been deported at least four times in the past 15 years, reports KIRO Radio.

An officer responding to a woman's cry for help Sunday night found 46-year-old Jose Madrigal on top of the woman and arrested him.

According to court documents, the woman told police that Madrigal had followed her and offered her $35 for sex, but she said no. She said Madrigal then forced her into the bushes on the north side of the store and raped her.

Documents say Madrigal told police "Sometimes we have control in our brains, but we make mistakes."

The 28-year-old Edmonds woman was treated at a hospital.

Snohomish County prosecutors have charged Madrigal in district court with second degree rape. He is also is being held for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

How about increasing the size of border patrols, making sure they don't return to our country once they have been deported. Implementation of our immigration laws would be a good start! Instead of inviting everyone who wants to come in, and letting them live off of the tax payers! Maybe this might actually mean something to you when a family member of yours is killed by an illegal immigrant that has had several DUI's, or someone in your family is raped by one of the illegals. The problem in this country today is nobody has a spine!

I've been to Mexico several times.

In fact my Father-in-Law has a winter home in McAllen Texas which is right on the border with Mexico and we go into Mexico every time we visit. Fact is there is all kinds of security checks and tons of people do get caught and deported. BUT there's also a huge border with in many places like only 100 yards of Rio Grand river to cross. It would cost a fortune to really seal off the entire border and operate it like some kind of a Berlin Wall (which by the way people still often times crossed).

The key here is to stop the jobs. To do that we need an virtually unforgeable National ID Card for all American citizens similar to the new microchip embedded US passports.

Then we smack any company caught employing illegal aliens without this verifiable ID with a fine starting at $25,000 per person per incident up to say $100,000 per person per incident.

With no available jobs illegal aliens for the most part would return to Mexico voluntarily.

We also need to speed up legal immigration from the current 5 to 10 years for the businesses that rely on this labor.

Damn Pops...we agree on something.

We need to nail all employers who knowingly hire illegals. That will stop much of it.

But another issue is our kooky policy of granting citizen to anyone born here. The so called anchor babies is a problem. Many are here living on welfare.

Well "sonny"... that's the 14th Amendment of United States Constitution.

Now that you're on the record of being against the United States Constitution I feel I should probably call you a Communist or Socialist or something. But I'm not like that.

Well Pops when the 14th was enacted, no one thought we would have presidents who fail to protect our border or follow the law.

I agree top gun. Just imagine if we took some of the money that we used to bailout some of these companies, and spent it on border security!

so ignore it....

its pathetic you claim to actually care about the constitution....but only when it fits you

I am not the one ignoring it. You and your kind are. I never suggested changing the Constitution.

If we protected our borders and prevented illegal immigration, which is one of the top jobs required of the Federal government, anchor babies would not be an issue.

See how easy it is to fix problems when you have a little commonsense???

But you did suggest changing the Constitution, and you were right. The 14th. Amendment as written so that native Americans would be citizens, not so that any woman from anywhere could sneak across the border and have a baby who would then be a citizen.

There is nothing wrong with changing the Constitution. It has a process by which it can be amended, after all.

After six decades of doing nothing or passing amnesty, it's high time we insisted that the federal government do its job and protect the sovereignty of the United States.

Did you notice that too?;)

Gip seems to be walking on that hypocrisy land mine a lot lately...

I like the Constitution... I hate the Constitution... I love the Bush Iraq War built in lies... I hate Obama going after the 9-11 conspirators in the War in Afghanistan...

Yes I can agree with you. But, we would not need to amend the 14th if the Feds would do their job.

Stopping illegal immigration is easy. Just put up the fence and monitor it. Plus fine the sh*t out of employers who hire illegals. Then there would be no more anchor babies.
