Photojournalism award, Turkish-style: The picture of a bleeding IDF soldier aboard the Marmara won Turkey's 2010 Photo of the Year Award in the News category; the contest was held by the Turkish photojournalism association.

Nine people were killed onboard the Gaza-bound Turkish ship after IDF troops who raided it encountered violent resistance by "peace activists" armed with an assortment of weapons.

Look at all that fuzz they are stirring in mass media. Turkish Premier Erdogan is Islamite. He has three wives and seeking for the fourth. And his wife wears burka. And entire Justice and Development Party is a crowd of radical Islamites either. And of course they are preparing coup d’etat for depriving Turkey secular state status.
How long this American filth would last? Haven’t you eaten enough of your own ****, US gentlemen? Well, may be you aren’t gentlemen at all. You resemble gossipy old bat picking to pieces everyone who disagrees with them and whom they don’t like. Soon you youth will be assured that Turks are drinking blood of Christian babies and victimize to Allah (Swt) Buddhist virgins. And why does Emine’s burka give you no peace? Aren’t we free people? We’ve got freedom for religion and many other lovely freedoms. Don’t you?

How is Turkey involved with radical Islam? No, we did not start a war with radical Islam. We started a war with the only secular Arab nation in the Middle East.

Have I forgotten 9/11? No, but apparently Republicans have.

Just as an aside, my business partner for years had been in the Korean War and served beside Turkish soldiers. His regard for their warrior skills was very high. They carried swords, and on at least one occasion he saw a Chinese Communist ambush thwarted by the two Turks with his unit who recognized the ambush, flanked the ambushers, and cut their heads off. The patrol realized this when they saw heads laying on the trail as they went forward.
