Chroniques de palestine 26 Novembre 2010
StampaE-mail Text size3 Palestinian families, all from Qara'in family, were forcibly evicted from their house early this morning by a large number of police and Israeli border police who arrived together with a group of settlers that reportedly are affiliated with the settler organization El Ad, in Jabal Mukaber, East Jerusalem, on 23.11.2010. The total number of Palestinians made homeless is 15, including 7 children aged from 3 to 18 years old.

All the furniture were removed by trucks to an unknown location. The settlers' organization El Ad claimed that the building was purchased to one of the family member who is now deceased, while the Palestinian family claims that they use forged documents and that the house belongs to them.

As soon as they arrived, the settlers group began undertaking some work on the premises to fortify the building. One settler also attacked an israeli activist by hitting him on the face right in front of the oilice who did nothing of course. The police closed off the area for several hours, preventing all journalists and photographers to document the eviction.
