Looks like the Republicans plan to lose in 2016.

I've watched Trump and Carson speak fairly extensively at this point - and I find neither of them impressive. Neither of them can articulate anything coherent, and the thought of (especially Carson) leading on foreign policy is a horrifying thought.

I am a pretty solid Republican, but I would skip the race before I voted for either of them.

Well Rob I understand your perspective but HRC or Sanders we can not survive.

It's probably too late to fix the damage but that's no reason to say f*ck it and hope you survive the collapse.

For me it's more about preserving something like America for the offspring.

Do you really believe that any current candidate from either party can effectively preserve this country for our offspring? I've yet to be impressed (for lack of a better word) by any of them enough to vote for one. I'm far more conservative than the so-called Republicans of today. It's really time for more choices. The two party stranglehold will be the downfall of this country. We need real statesman. Enough of these politicians.

As I said it's probably too late but Trump might hold it off for a time and allow people to accept third parties as he really doesn't need the party for much.

ANY dem will send the train off the rails at warp speed. Any rino only at mach 3 or 4.

I wish it were.
Without substancial change 100% of tax revenue will be going to debt service in 10 years.
100 %
No military
No judiciary
No welfare
No govt
Think HRC will change that positivily ?

We have been hearing that tripe from the right wing ever since Reagan. And then when the Repugnant ones gain control they double, or triple, the national debt, lower taxes for the ones most able to pay them, start wars, and in general do what they can to destroy the economy. We hear things like how the rich are going to grow the economy, create jobs, and all will be well. And what do we get.

While I would not vote for Hillary, at least Sanders would share the great wealth of this country, not give it to the ones who do not create it. You really need to look at the countries that do have Democratic Socialism beyond the amount of taxes paid.

I don't think Trump or Carson accomplish that end. I'd vote for a third party before voting for either of them. I certainly would not vote for Clinton, and there is no chance in hell I would ever vote for Sanders.
