Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami

I believe the earthquake in Japan was done by the Pentagon. To set off earthquake is a matured technique.

I believe it is the continuation of the series “nuclear terror attack” plot started later last year. It is used to justify the war on Iran. Iran is always accused of developing nuclear weapons though Iran denies it.

As we move into conspiracy I would like to provide more information on the topic for the sake of inclusive comprehension.

In support of your beliefs Benjamin Fulford, noted conspiracy theorist, explains his experiences (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRIuYxmeppY). Given this video was made in 2008 there are a few more incidences that can be included to his assessment, such as the floods in Pakistan and the earthquake in Haiti. He gives plenty of information (not cited of course) in his defence.

In opposition of your beliefs Benjamin Fulford not only looks the part of " crazy, white man" but supposedly joined the Eastern Secret Societies when invited by "the Ninja"; which, true or not, damages his credibility. In addition, his remarks have a low percentage of proof and, by their nature, make implications regarding other conspiratorial topics that stack up against his credibility's favor.

To stay on topic, the specifics of the earthquake in Japan has possible political connections. Namely, the undermining of the use of Nuclear Energy as a source of civil power due to safety issues. The error in this argument is that the design of the Mark 1 Nuclear Power Plant was met with approval in the first place(https://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/16/world/asia/16contain.html?_r=1). "In 1972, Stephen H. Hanauer, then a safety official with the Atomic Energy Commission, recommended that the Mark 1 system be discontinued because it presented unacceptable safety risks. Among the concerns cited was the smaller containment design, which was more susceptible to explosion and rupture from a buildup in hydrogen — a situation that may have unfolded at the Fukushima Daiichi plant". This terror stricken mood that fills American media looks pretty damn good for a oil giant looking for a lube-job. Speculation aside, the possibility of control over a weapon that has long been developed and used, namely by the HAARP corporation, is unquestionably plausible considering the interests of both political and economic actors.

The argument over NOAA funding levels is somewhat misleading. The current proposal allows for the entire tsunami warning system to remain funded an in place...with NOAA taking an overall budget cut.

The argument of "there was a disaster, so funding cannot be cut" is absurd. I wonder the response those making that case would have to the argument of "there are wars, therefore the military can never be cut."

Additionally the idea that this scenario is just cause for stopping nuclear power advancement is just as absurd as the response to the gulf oil spill.

Point being, don't take the stories on this issue at face value...often the reality is completely different.

Thank you..very well said

Its a very sad event, but I dont think there are any conspiracies with this. I think we should stop building nuclear plants.

Stop building nuclear plants? The U.S. hasn't built any new nuke power plants since Three Mile Island. The cost is too high for the vast majority of U.S. utilities.

The news media is taking every opportunity to sensationalize what is going on at the Japanese nuke power plants. They are getting a lot wrong. They are creating false fear. They are misinterpreting the valid information they are receiving, and they are doing a disservice to the people in Japan and people in the United States and around the world, with their agenda-driven nonsense.

A perfect example was yesterday's "news" that the reactor vessel in Unit 3 (?) had been breeched and radiation levels in the plant were going through the roof and this is a "grave" situation, blah, blah, blah. One day later (today), the news media are busy detracting what they said yesterday. Oops, another false alarm. There is no leak in the reactor vessel.

The Japanese have the situation under control, and the contamination levels outside of the plant facility are not as "bad" as the news media is portraying.

You never hear about the actual contamination levels. No hard numbers. Just the generalized "above normal" statement. "Above normal" could mean just about anything. Above background (radiation) could be considered "above normal". In many areas, the radiation levels are too low to register on a rem meter, so any kind of positive reading would be above normal, even though the reading is well below any sort of "danger" level.

I also love some of these so-called "experts" that the networks roll out on a regular basis. College professors, desk jockey physics geeks, and other assorted riff-raff who have never set foot inside of a nuclear power plant, much less been inside of a nuke power plant control room or inside of a containment building.

How come the networks aren't talking to actual nuclear power plant engineers or health physics people or radiochemists or control room supervisors? Because they don't want to hear the facts and the truth. Absurd and completely dishonest.

The news media has no shame or conscience. But that's nothing new.

or perhaps build them in places unlikely to experience major earthquakes and tsunamis.

I agree.m those who say there should be no nuclear power because there are sometimes earthquakes would be like saying there should be no roads, because there are sometimes earthquakes -- and roads collapse in earthquakes; or there should be no bridges, because there are sometimes floods -- and bridges sometimes fail in floods. I'm not minimizing the devastation caused to even an advanced civilization like Japan by a massive and tragic earthquake. I'm not suggesting there can never be rational and objective liability, for owners of nuclear power plants or any other utility that can harm the health and well-being of people who did not choose to be exposed to the effects of that utility. At the same time, we have to remain rational, and -- as in the case of oil spills and other disasters -- recognize that human technology adds to the overall safety and value of human life for each and every individual.

Just as we would never say, "Medical accidents and medical malpractice sometimes occur, therefore there should be no medicine," you should never say, "Dangerous technologies should not exist." So long as life is the standard of value, all human beings benefit from the value brought about by the existence and continuing expansion of technology. The challenge with technology is to always be expanding and improving it -- and keeping government out of it.

Private enterprise and rational science always have been, and always will be, man's salvation. Government, when allowed to interfere with the workings of the human mind and human ingenuity, will just about always mess it up.

The deepest issue here is not government, but human reason. In a world where human reason, science and capitalism are left free to dominate, all individuals will always benefit. Although accidents and tragedies are always possible, because human error and natural disasters are always possible, it's likewise true that on the whole human reason massively lifts mankind and propels it to ever greater heights. Think of all that has progressed in our lifetime. Government didn’t do this … the human mind (at its best) did.

A world without reason as opposed to one where reason dominates? There's no comparison.I don't remember who said that...

Well said, nobull/Doug.

I submit that the U.S. government has reduced, restricted, and even stopped technological advances, and therefore has fostered a climate of "stifled creativity" in many areas of our lives.

It's not over yet.

Authorities in north-east Japan ordered a general evacuation and workers at the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant took shelter after an earthquake triggered a new tsunami warning.

However, the tsunami warning was lifted after 90 minutes and the earthquake - with a magnitude of 7.1 - did little obvious damage.

7.1 is still a respectable earthquake.

If you really believe that, you may want to peruse these ideas as well.

I do believe that, so do European Parliament. They quickly issued warnings on HAARP 11 days after the Japan earthquake.

Quote, "European Parliament issues warnings on HAARP

March 22, 2011

“HAARP is a project of which the public is almost completely unaware, and this needs to be remedied.”

Toronto, Canada – [ZNN] The daily lives of people seem blissfully unaffected by events about which they know little or nothing. Daily news reports unfold with no mention as to why and how the powerful operate behind the scenes. We pay our mortgages, book our vacations and school our children, as a corporate and government elite engage in projects beyond our wildest imaginations.

Conditioned to accept that ‘all is well’ or, that we are powerless to affect change in a world dis-integrating before our eyes – we conduct our lives until one day it affects us directly – unfortunately by then it’s far too late.

Ask the people of northern Japan how they feel about the last three sentences and the answers they now seek in the aftermath of unimaginable loss and yet another future generation desecrated and ravaged by nuclear radiation.

A European Parliament document may provide a few answers for the inquiring mind. This parliamentary document is not some conspiratorial rant but an official governmental perspective describing authentic concern that a terribly grave technology, which the document calls a weapon, has been unleashed over many years without any public knowledge.

The technology is called HAARP and the European Parliament has put NATO, the US Air Force and Navy on notice, demanding an explanation about their involvement.

One of the most damning statements in the document reveals an American refusal to account for itself regarding HAARP research:

“[The European Parliament]… regrets the repeated refusal of the United States Administration to send anyone in person to give evidence to the public hearing or any subsequent meeting held by its competent committee into the environmental and public risks connected with the high Frequency Active Auroral Research Project (HAARP) programme currently being funded in Alaska.”

HMM.. Maybe those Dinosauroid-like Alien Reptiles are to blame.

Or, perhaps the scientists are right once again, and plate tectonics are the cause of earthquakes in Japan and anywhere else.

No, human beings can't make earthquakes. That idea is just absurd.

Nuclear plants take 1000 years for the waste to disappear. There is no way we can guarantee there will be no accidents over this period of time. They are not safe anywhere
