Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami

A massive 8.8 magnitude earthquake hit the Pacific Ocean nearby Northeastern Japan at around 2:46pm on March 11 (JST) causing damage with blackouts, fire and tsunami. The large earthquake triggered a tsunami warning for countries all around the Pacific ocean.

I believe the last thread was closed and a new one started in order to get away from the silly partisan sniping.

I'm not sure what can be said about a terrible natural disaster, except that it happened on the Pacific Rim of Fire, and anyone else living on it needs to be prepared. Another quake could strike, and this time it could be L.A., or perhaps in your backyard.

Government spokesman Yukio Edano acknowledged it was possible that a meltdown had occurred at the first reactor. Second nuclear reactor has lost it's cooling system.

I hope we can learn from this and not cut sunomie warning funding, and also look at how this has effected there nuclear reactors...as its something we keep talking about more of...what a horrible way to make things just that much worse.

Those are pretty graphic.

So, how do any of us prepare for a disaster of that magnitude? It could happen again anywhere on the Pacific Ring of fire.

The argument over NOAA funding levels is somewhat misleading. The current proposal allows for the entire tsunami warning system to remain funded an in place...with NOAA taking an overall budget cut.

The argument of "there was a disaster, so funding cannot be cut" is absurd. I wonder the response those making that case would have to the argument of "there are wars, therefore the military can never be cut."

Additionally the idea that this scenario is just cause for stopping nuclear power advancement is just as absurd as the response to the gulf oil spill.

Point being, don't take the stories on this issue at face value...often the reality is completely different.

Partial melting of at least one core at Fukushima confirmed, one containment damaged, more meltdowns feared.

I believe the earthquake in Japan was done by the Pentagon. To set off earthquake is a matured technique.

I believe it is the continuation of the series “nuclear terror attack” plot started later last year. It is used to justify the war on Iran. Iran is always accused of developing nuclear weapons though Iran denies it.

We saw there were three attempts last year to activate a “nuclear terror attack” in US.

1. Days before 11/2 mid-term election. The plot came with “Yemen UPS parcel bombing” case.

2. Christmas of 2010. It was signaled by Military conflict between North and South Korea and two big snow storms in London and New York. The cities were selected because people there mostly anti-war and demand 911 truth.

3. There were two unusual snow storms in San Francisco Bay area and New York on 2/25. Snow would keep people home to reduce the casualty when a nuclear attack happens.

The material of “nuclear bomb” or “dirty bomb” in the coming “terror attack” comes from the Feds.
