Good ol' country music

    I like the old stuff and the bluegrass n gospel it came from. Modern country not so much. But Allison Kraus is wonderful.

    I have never really been a big fan of country music. I just do not get the appeal, but at the same time I recognize that a lot of people love it, and so this just goes into that category of "to each their own" and more than that I do not really bother. There are some good country songs, though.

    I might suggest that a good song I s a good song regardless of the treatment.

    Take "Masquerade" written by Leon Russell. It's one of the most covered songs there is and by artists the spectrum of genres.
