Dow plunges another 189 in first 2 hours this morning

What in HELL is going on?

Have people pretty much given up on the U.S. ever getting its financial act together, after the "Deal" that accomplished nothing but more spending and more debt?

P.S. Anybody know what happened around 10AM eastern? Volume goes to zero, price changed very smoothly... which it NEVER does. Some kind of control kick in?
