Did Hollywood play the race card?

During the Grammy Awards show they made a speech remembering Whitney Houston. But Renmember when Micheal Jackson and Farrett Faucett died on the same year during the academy awards show they played a in memoriam all the fallen stars who died that year. Yeah they showed Micheal Jackson but did not mention Farrett Faucett. I think Hollywood just played the race card.

But what if Britney Spears passes on Or Gene Simmons passes on you think they bow down for them?

cant say I watch awards shows regularly but I do recall seeing some where they give a nod to lost members. I wonder if they mentioned Don Cornelius last night ? I know they did Etta James and Houston...

Farrah would be Emmy's if anywhere.
