The lawsuit accuses Twitter of hiding, punishing or “shadow-banning” posts with a conservative bent – including those from Nunes – while simultaneously allowing others to profit from defaming him. Nunes’ attorney, Steven S. Biss, claims Twitter “allowed (and allows) its platform to serve as a portal of defamation in order to undermine public confidence in Plaintiff and to benefit his opponents and opponents of the Republican Party.”

It is certainly a nuisance suit when Devin Nunes sues for $250 million because damages to him were a smaller winning margin than he wanted. Also a punitive request for $350 million is beyond outlandish.

The irony is that the parody account was in the name of @DevinCow with only 1000 followers. When Devin sued, that parody account jumped to 115,000.

Almost all public figures right or left have to endure parody accounts. Most simply ignore them for good reason.
