Corruption and Democrats

If every state was targeted why hasn't every state been audited? Michigan was audited and they gave away 1.5 billion taxpayer dollars to fraud commiters.
A billion is huge and Michigan is only a medium size state. If Michigan lost 1.5 billion, how much did California and New York get stolen?

Latest news from Portland. Insurance premiums for businesses have skyrocketed, rising as much as 4 times higher than before the riots. So far the damage tally is over $20 million and just may go higher.
So, Mr. Mayor, great job and keep up the great work. You have been buddy buddy with "peaceful" protestors at the expense of the tax paying citizens you swore to protect.
And good luck getting reelected.
 
Some very savvy restaurant owners in NYC have decided to ban Cuomo from eating in their restaurants. Cuomo has hurt their business dramatically with Covid restrictions. And one way to let Cuomo know how they feel is to ban Andy from eating there.
Way to go, Andy. Issuing non sensical restrictions. Killing thousands in nursing homes. Supporting DB who many say is the world's worst mayor.
Way to go, Andy. Way to go.
 
Update on Hollywood Blvd.
Around 75% of the businesses on this iconic street are boarded up. This is due to the crazy Covid restrtictions of governer Gavin Gruesome. I So people who want to see the handprints in the sidewalk also get to see 3/4 of the businesses with plywood over their wondows.
In my town in Fl, we have a lower percentage of Coviders than Cal and none of downtown is boarded up. So FL is doing a better job of preventing Covid than Cal and has far, far fewer restrictions on business than Cal and most citizens actually think our gov is doing a good job.
Way to go, Gruesome. More crappy, failing liberal decisions. Good luck getting reelected. You will need all the luck you can get.
 
Another consequence of the exodus from liberal run cities and states: loss of congressional seats.
NY state has lost so many permanent residents that they may lose congressional seats.
One seat may go away very soon with more to follow.
What will Andy C do if he loses more power? Liberalism is based on power and little by little it may be slipping away.
I guess Andy C can go back to pleading with NYers not to leave.
"Please dont leave. We need you to pay our exhorbitant taxes."
 
Has Teddy finally woken up?
Teddy is the mayor of Portland. And he has created a huge mess by catering to Antifa and BLM thugs. And now he has admitted he is wrong and has asked the Feds and State for help cleaning up the mess he created.
He has admitted he handled things poorly and has asked for assistance.
Anyone with half a brain could easily see he was doing an extrememly poor job handling the violence and rioting. Perhaps his brain was clouded by liberal and progressive mush. Now that his brain is unclouded he has admitted his errors and asked for help to clean up the mess.
So how do all you libs out there that supported Teddy's failings feel now....Betrayed ?
Maybe now Portland can return to being a city safe to live in and the businesses affected by Teddy's screw ups can get back to business. Maybe they can have a glass store front instead of plywood. And maybe insurance premiums will drop to normal. And maybe businesses can spend money on customers instead of cleaning up after Antifa/BLM thugs.
And maybe residents can resume their lives without fire bombs and trash in the street.
Teddy, even though you screwed up initially, now you see the light and can get back to responsible mayoring.
 
Walter, Teddy actually sounds rational today. Too bad he didn't see all this in April.
 
Democrats in leadership have imposed insane restrictions because of Covid. The restrictions in Calif and NYC are way, way more restrictive than my state, FL.
FL has no state mask mandates. All mask requirements are local. We have no curfews and you can actually go to church. The restaurant dining rooms are open and the Gators were actually able to play games in the Swamp.
And when you compare hospitalization rates from 2018 and 2019 you find 2020 is about the same. So if we don't have all the restrictions like Cal and NYC, why isn't our hospitalization rate through the roof? If all the restrictions really work, why is FL an exception with the same number of people in hospitals?
I believe the restrictions in Calif and NYC are the result of liberals wanting to control people and has little if anything to do with preventing disease.
This is evidence that liberalism wants to control at any cost.
Liberalism is a preliminary step to socialism which is a preliminary step to communism. I doubt there are many liberals out there that will admit this. But if you think it through and realize where liberalism takes society you may just have a lightbulb go off in your mind and see the truth.
