We all know that Conservatives in the US scream 'socialism' and 'slavery' when the idea of universal healthcare is tabled and we all know what ludicrously hysterical and inappropriate responses these are

Taxing the wealthy to help the poor is not slavery or socialism.

But what makes me laugh is that Conservatives, by and large, are overwhelmed with joy at the prospect of enormous spending on the military, way beyond anything that could conceivably be described as defence.

You don't hear them squealing their half witted platitudes when money is taken from the people by the Government for killing other people

But boy do they get animated if you try to take it to help their own fellow citizens

But then the retardlican party is trying to destroy the US economy for their own political ends by forcing cuts over taxation

The conservative party in the UK is trying such a policy and has been doing for a few years now

The result...no growth, downgrading by the ratings agencies, unemployment, a weakened pound and a triple dip recession. So far

You sure do have to be a hypocrite to be a conservative don't you?

I am a conservative and I want defense cut drastically along with everything else. I would much prefer that we Americans let you murderous fools around the world kill yourselves without our intervention...we should never have saved your worthless asses in WWI and WWII and from the Soviet Menace.

The government creating jobs is not effective. Yes, we need a strong military, but not with deficit spending. We added $250 BILLION dollars to the deficit in February....that is 1/4 TRILLION IN ONE FUCKING MONTH!!! Obama and his kind are destroying America with debt and debasement of the currency. So, creating jobs is the last thing our stinking corrupt government should be doing by building more military aircraft when we already have tons of them.

We need to cut the military DRASTICALLY. I would cut it in half...merely by stopping the continuous wars and interventions, bringing ALL our troops home, closing all bases outside of the US. Then focus on protecting the homeland....like closing our southern border to illegals and terrorists.

But unlike my hypocritical commie friend Pockets, who would cut only defense, I say cut EVERYTHING. No more deficit spending PERIOD.

But then again, I am a dreamer. With a communist in the WH and statists everywhere in our political class, we are destined for disaster.
