Daily Mail reports that companies that help to build President Trump's controversial border wall could be banned from doing business with San Francisco.

Local left-wing politicians will introduce the legislation on Tuesday, in a bill similar to several proposals cropping up around the country.

Supervisor Hillary Ronen and Supervisor Aaron Peskin have proposed the ban in order to 'fight' for the values they 'hold most dear'.

Daily Mail Report

  • Supervisors Hillary Ronen and Aaron Peskin will introduce the ban on Tuesday
  • They will propose the ban in order to 'fight' for the values they 'hold most dear'
  • The proposed bill would ban companies that apply to work on the wall during the bidding period, regardless of whether they actually get a contract
  • Some 640 firms have put their names forward to participate in the wall project
'It's clear the people of California don't want to invest in the hateful values that the Trump wall represents.'
Garcia added: 'It is counterproductive to invest in projects that will not serve the best interest of all Californians.'

So, they're planning on interfering with a fair and open and legal tender process, yeah right let's just see how that one works out for them and their defence attorneys. What a pile of horse pucky!
