The Australian Knighthood for Prince Phillip was the last of many mistakes. Abbott has said he change and consult more. We will see.

The Australian PM has not started well since the vote. He imiss one of his ministers, drop a favourite scheme of his to give high payments to those on maternity leave.

Well this would of occured due to the prime minister not doing much for the people and interesting this can happen in Australia and surprising at the same time as well. The person needs to do things which will benefit the people and also if the Pm does things which can cause more harm than good than it is not a good thing to have them stay in office. I, think we need a person who will do what is right but when it comes to politics it can be easy to misuse the power and also do things as you feel control in your hand.

welcome vegito12. You are right we need a PM tht does god things for the people. The problem is that with 24 hour media it is hard to appear good as the media is more interested I bad news. We have had four prime Ministers in 8 years. It looks like Tony Abbot will be a one term PM. Perhaps we should modify the Westminister system s that the PM would get at least four years like the American President.
