Why not all the airline unions perform a national strike? Well the government wont listen to us but they will listen to strikes and walkouts. Remember those Bad old days of Martin Luther King and his followlers walkouts protests? It lead to the Civil Rights era. Rosa Parks who got arrested for not giving up her seat to a white man that spraked the Mongomery Bus boycotts. It lead to Police arrests and eventuly the politicans in D.C gave up throw up their hands and gave in to Black people they cant do whatever they want. Samething about the Los Angeles hispanic kids who walked out of school back in early 70s because they wanted rights and the School board gave in to those kids. Now why dont the Pilots union and Airline employees union just walk off the job refuse to fly unless the government gives in and end the pat downs and the naked X Ray Screenings. Now government gotta give in right? Its working all over the world like in France there are riots protesting the raise in retirement age from 60 to 67. Riots in Denmark on pension freezes. So if it can work over there and it worked for Martin Luther Kings people it can work if the airline employees walk off their jobs. Government gotta give in right?? Whos gonna fly those planes? Whos gonna take our bags put them on planes whos gonna fix those planes?? It cant fly its going nowhere and people have to get to their desinations or it will cripple the U.S Economy. So why not a National Strike for all airlines against the T.S.A?

Because dull boy, it is not the unionized airline workers who are inconvenienced by the searches. It is the passengers who are inconvenienced. Do more thinking and less posting.

Well the Pilots and flight attendants are upset too

The last time a union involved with the flight industry struck (PATCO, the Air Controller's Union), they were de-certified by Ronald Reagan and they all lost their jobs. Maybe the current unions still remember that. Complaining is one thing, striking and risking your job is quite another. They can still make a living with the pat-downs going on, but they cannot without their jobs.

One of the great actions taken by a great president. It is too bad he did not de-certify all government unions including those worthless teacher unions...

Ops I forgot, the teachers unions are not aligned with and do not financially support the D Party (aka CPA) and all things socialist.

Likely solution ? Airports fire the TSA. They can do that anytime they want. Juast need to institute security measures people will have faith in. LIke those of El-Al. They're going t have to oce they see how it impacts T-Day sales.

Heres a Update

TSA: Pilots to be exempt from some airport checks

DALLAS – Amid a growing protest against stepped-up and intrusive screening of airline passengers, the government has cut a break for one very influential group of travelers — the pilots.

The Transportation Security Administration agreed Friday to let uniformed airline pilots skip the body scans and aggressive pat-downs at the heart of a national uproar. The pilots must pass through a metal detector at airport checkpoints and present photo IDs that prove their identity.
