Health Care is absolutely a budget matter
Nothing in the bill nationalizes health care

What I don't understand about the Health Care debate, is that Republicans refuse to debate it from their true ideological perspective, which is that health care is a privelage, not a right. Unfortunately, that doesn't poll well these days, so you have to basically make stuff up like "the government is going to kill you and nationalize healthcare, and socialism... and stuff"...

Republicans think Health Care is a privelage, Democrats think Health Care should be a fundamental right (actually, they are supposed to think that, but unfortunately there are too many DINO's).

That's the debate we should be having. Unfortunately the media, corporate interests, and the radicals on both sides have dominated the debate with a bunch of nonsense.

Don't you see? its Immoral to use it to help anyone with health care...But to take health care away , thats fine.

They cry becuse the house and Senate voted in large numbers and passed health care...and there no longer able to tand in the way...with there 41 votes to 59

Note 59 is more then 41...bye about 18

but the sky is green ( pollution maybe? ) to them so 41 votes is the majority and 59 the minority..

Using the force of government to make people pay for your healthcare is no better than slavery.

And in your wold of might makes right, the majority always gets their way because that's the Democratic tradition... Two wolfs and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner. When you're on the receiving end of the tyranny of a majority, democracy doesn't look so good, it's at that point you will wish we still had a Republic that protects the rights of the minority from the will of the majority.

People like pocket don't want any limits placed on the federal government, it should be powerful enough to give us everything and powerful enough to take everything away - cradle to grave paternalism. He'd be fine with a totalitarian system so long as people he agreed with were in charge.
