See Germans are weak people now ever since Hitler left them. Germans wont stand up against their own government. Just like when the Soviets took over East Germany they didnt stand up to them,,They dug tunnels took the easy way out instead of standing up to them. Greeks theyre fighting against their government.

they can fight all they want but they'll still end up like Zimbabwe.
Germany did stand up and so will not increase their retirement age because they just said nein to another euro for Greece.

The Wealthy has no business retiring with Social Security. I say if you collect Social Security then you must have income under $100,000 a year. If you make that much money then you live off your bank account.

Social Security is only legal as it represents a sort of insurance into which all these people have paid. how would you like it if the government just took the 401k or IRA you had been contributing to for decades ?

The only way to save Social Security from going bankrupt is add more regalations thats comon sense. Why do you need Social Security if youre rich?

You are right to see the greek/german story as an analogy to the poor/wealthy story.

You are wrong that a wealthy person should not collect social security since it is not a welfare program. It is an insurance program and anyone paying dues in exchange for a benefit is deserving of what they paid for.

The only way to save it is to have the politicians stop raiding it, and adjust benefits to match premiums just like every other insurance policy in this country does. But most importantly what is needed is a way to stop people from being forced to buy a policy if they don't want it.

also granting full benefit to any new class whose votes need buying as opposed to the gradual vesting the rest of us enjoy.

What about public pensions? Most of them didn't even pay into it, or very little, and they get 70-80% of what they were earning. SS doesn't even come close to that.

I dont have an IRA or an 401k i declined it. I know its a scam. You see i knew the government was gonna get the IRS involved with our 401k and IRAs when it was introduced back in the 90s. You think im stupid dont you? I know the DNC too well to know better.
