Trump Losing In World Opinion

I was listening to Washington Journal this morning when this topic came up. As usual the right wing Trumpettes came out against the poll citing their usual excuses such as polls don't matter, or the size of the poll was too small. Of course, just recently a Pew Poll came out in favor of Trump, and that one was very "credible" to the Trumpette. Well, they certainly don't like this one:

Although he has only been in office a few months, Donald Trump’s presidency has had a major impact on how the world sees the United States. Trump and many of his key policies are broadly unpopular around the globe, and ratings for the U.S. have declined steeply in many nations. According to a new Pew Research Center survey spanning 37 nations, a median of just 22% has confidence in Trump to do the right thing when it comes to international affairs. This stands in contrast to the final years of Barack Obama’s presidency, when a median of 64% expressed confidence in Trump’s predecessor to direct America’s role in the world.

If it's about racism, then it's hypocritical as many of these nations' citizens are massively racist.

First, Europe is NOT as racist as the US. I KNOW, as I live here (currently Belgium, but also France and England, and spent a lot of time in Portugal and Italy), and lived in the US (California, Pennsylvania, Colorado, and SC) for the better part of 45 years.

Second, racism is NOT the only issue the world has against Trump. In fact, this is just the LATEST issue. Trump hasn't shown ONE SIDE that is acceptable and worth of respect from the world.

He is just a joke, and it is too late to change that world judgement.

I'm amazed that anyone could find so many people in the UK able to tolerate Trump as this poll shows. They had an Any Questions which featured his upcoming visit here, and the Subsequent Any Answers had to work desperately to keep up any sort of balance. The best they could do was someone who thought it might help trade. If only Trump had been firmly established before the Brexit vote - the thought of being dependent upon trade with that scumbag would have killed it stone dead!

Just a bit off topic (rather old thread...but hey) ...anyway...that radio program in itself I find is not that balanced...its the BBC...its naturally left biased.
Jesus! - you really believe that, when the bugger is clearly run by Conservative Central Office, using Zionist censors? Fascinating!

Yes, it's from January. Do you suppose world opinion has changed much in the past 4 months? I wonder.

Say, wasn't it your countrymen who circulated a petition to ban Trump from the UK?

well that Kim Yum Yum fella seems to be warming to him...soon to be BFFs...or at least that's the line at the moment...we'll see....

Maybe we could invite Kim along to the UK at the same time as Trumpy. They could go for a quick round of golf and a slurp of Scotch in the bar, get pissed and make friends...Kim would then put in a good word for Trumpy with the Chinese, Trumpy could re-board Air Force Trump and grope a few stewardesses...pay them off....tweet about it... and alls well in the world again!

WHile TRump will never be popular among fOrigners some have change their opinion in the last month since the KOrea talks. ALL political parties in AUStralia praise his action here.

yeah...why not...its a fact.
Whisky cheaper round London, eh? Stick to beer, lad! Seeing what the Fatman has been doing to 'these little ones' he has also lost the support of any literate Christians. It will need a big millstone round that flabby fat neck when he goes into the depths of the sea!

A lot of people in Britain think that Trump is the best thing that's happened in America for a long time.Europe is being ruined by the EU and now the UK has wisely decided to leave this dreadful organisation, they will renew friendly relations with the US and many more countries.

Well, if they want the USA bolluxed, I'm sure they do. The trouble is that being a less prosperous Puerto Rico under the control of a flabby clown appeals only to total halfwits of the kind who support Trump over there.
