Chinas way of conquering the world

Tell me something. It took me about ten seconds to find these two articles. Why is it that people such as yourself who claim to have so much interest in the topic cannot do the same?

My dear friend, I have found the two articles in nine seconds. Do I need to inform you about such trivial things beforehand?

I won't tell you something that is not interesting. Instead, I choose to tell you things that are more interesting. :)

Have Eisenhower and his successors made full use of the interstate highway system to "conquer the world" like China, as claimed by the poster of this thread? From the alarm raised in this thread over China's OBOR, the answer is definitely "No".

It looks like China's OBOR is an improved version of America's interstate highway system. Instead of building an interstate highway, China and the participating states in the project are building an interstate railway.

N.B. By the way, America cannot sue China for patent infringement because Eisenhower did not register the global patent for his interstate highway system.

What's the problem with China's OBOR after all? Let's use this analogy. Suppose you find your neighbour suddenly set aside a few hours daily for powerlifting training, why should you be alarmed and worried that he will not only become stronger than you but may also become the strongest man in the neighbourhood.

Of course, there is no reason for you to be alarmed or worried. Because you can also go for the same daily muscle-building routine to become as strong as your neighbour, if not stronger. Similarly, there is no reason why any country including the US should be alarmed by China's OBOR. The US has all the freedom in the world to outperform China's OBOR. Nobody can prevent the US from "conquering the world" with its own version of OBOR or any other means. That's why I propose a version of OBOR for Uncle Sam called OTOT (One Tie, One Trail) to counter China's OBOR (One Belt, One Road). Let's see any wise US presidential candidate will adopt my idea in the future. (y)

Instead of trying to outperform China with its version of OBOR, Uncle Sam chooses to withdraw into his own shell. Worst of all, instead of going out for more sunshine and fresh air, Uncle Sam is imprisoning himself by building a great wall.

And yet you did not know the information I posted. Now that you appear to be lying to cover your ignorant ass, I am going to close this discussion. Trolls are not ones I "debate" with.

My dear friend, let me use this an analogy as my parting shot. :)

Two men, Mr A and Mr B, were having a fierce debate at a marketplace on how many domesticated animals each of them knew. One day after a long debate, Mr B brought a pair of wild boars to the marketplace, claiming that he took about ten seconds to find those two animals in a nearby forest.

Mr A laughed loudly, saying he found the two animals in nine seconds last week. He said: "Do I need to inform you about such trivial things beforehand? I won't tell you something that is not interesting. Instead, I choose to tell you things that are more interesting." :ROFLMAO:

In an angry response, Mr B said, "And yet you did not know the domesticated animals I brought along. Now that you appear to be lying to cover your ignorant ass, I am going to close this discussion. Trolls are not ones I 'debate' with."

The following is one of the more interesting things I promise to tell my friend here. :coffee:

In the latest instalment of the Silk Road series, the program showcases how China is reaching out to the Middle East as part of a grand trillion dollar plan that has massive implications for the existing world order. The series begins in China and journeys on to Pakistan, Egypt and Iran as it tracks the huge infrastructure projects and ‘soft power’ cultural moves that are spearheading China’s bold new economic diplomacy in the region. An alluring cocktail of travel intrigue and investigative documentary will be served up in this dynamic new series that undresses just what China is up to in this startling new trade.

P.S. I won't boast to my dear friend about how many seconds I took to find this program. I am sure he will claim to have found it earlier and faster than me. :)

Multiculturalism Is Not the American Way

Why does anyone who is not degenerate himself believe it's worth trading with sh*thole countries? Only if both we and China both go back to tried-and-true imperialism will the superior resources occupied by inferior people be developed. If America had been left to the savages after 1492, it would today have the economy of Bangladesh.

EVERY COUNTRY THAT BECOMES POWERFUL TRIES TO SPREAD ITS IDEAS TO OTHERS> GREECE< ROME AND BRITAIN DID THIS IN THE PAST > SO DID THE USA AFTER ww2. Today CHINA IS DOING THE SAME> BUT ONLY IDEAS THAT SUIT THE PEOPLE WILL SURVIV> SO Greek ideas about republic and democracy survive. ROME building f wlls and an armu survived as did for a time is language. BRITAIN IDEA OF A STRONG NAVY SURVIVED , also PARliamnt form of government. THE ENGLISH LANGAUGE ALMOST BECAME UNIVERSAL> TITS RAILWAY STSTEM WAS COPIED IN INDIA AND MANY OYHERCOLONIES BUT THE REST DISAPPEARED WHEN THE EMPIRE COLLAPSE> AMRICaA"S ROAD NETWRK WAS COPIED BY OTHRS AND ITSFoRM OF ENTERTAINMENT>> SOM SPECTS OF CAPITALISM BUT NOT ALL WAS COPIED> SO IT WILL BEWITH CHINA> ITS INTRASTRUCTURE MAY REMAIN AND BE COPIED BUT COMMUNISM WILL NOT BE FULLY ADOPTED>

The Chinese, by and large, have decent manners. The fatman beating his hollow chest at the world and honking creates anger and contempt.

A large number of different countries were on top of the world throughout history.

Briton once ruled the seas...
Italy and the Holy Roman Empire...
The Ottoman Empire...
Greece, Persia, Egypt....

The US is sinking. Maybe it's China's turn, while the US becomes a banana republic.

Chinas initiative "One Belt, One Road" is on track. Funded with 40 billion Dollar, China does a gigantic infrastructure investment, railway and highway, to connect China within Asia and to Europe and Africa.
For China this a way to expand Chinese influence at the expense of the USA.

Interesting reads:

My great friend, why doesn't the US counter China in the same way by initiating "One Tie, One Trail" (OTOT) to connect itself to Latin America and Canada? Instead, it is doing the opposite by imposing high tariffs on imports from neighbouring countries and trying to build a long, "beautiful" wall along its southern border.
