When I learned to listen and use analytical reasoning, I stopped being a liberal.

Is shoving religion down peoples' throats and wanting every aspect of everyone's life, (regardless of their personal beliefs and religious views), dictated by someone else's religion, not telling people how to think?

Someone has tried to force you to be religious? Who? What technique did they use on you to alter your internal belief system? What were their methods to assure that their brainwashing worked? What was the penalty if you didn't comply and prove your belief?

The fact is that in my day to day life, I am far more likely to have some sort of liberal religion forced upon me than any sort of religious dogma....and when I say forced, I really do mean forced at gunpoint with the force of law. The new age religion of climate change for instance....I am being made to pay to that god every day....and on and on it goes with liberalism being the political philosophy that literally insinuates itself into every aspect of your life.

Yes, seriously.

Typical liberal response...great sweeping statements, based entirely on emotion and then when you ask for specifics you get incredulity as if that were an answer to your question....and then just to put the cherry on the sundae, they can't identify the disconnect between whatever prompted the emotional statement in the first place and their inability to rationally engage in a discussion on the topic. It is literally the template for liberalism....all feeling, no rationality.

Lil is a student so it's optomistic to think she would have taken time to comprehend the specifics. She relies on sound bites and hope it covers. If Course It Does not.
As she gains awareness she will likely grow more conservative. Few get stuck on lib.

More and more are staying stuck on lib....it is so easy. Going about just feeling is so easy...not difficult and sometimes painful like thinking...and actually looking at the consequences of those actions that make one feel so good.

The only people who would agree to this would be conservatives. Liberals would laugh in your face. And based on how the Republican candidates are expressing themselves so far, they aren't giving themselves a good name. Are there exceptions to either statement? Absolutely. But I wouldn't be spouting these all over the place.

Give it time, and the Conservatives on this thread will prove the point that they don't just want us to think. It'll happen soon enough!

By the way, the same thing will happen if you claimed Liberals wanted people to think. There's no right answer, and a battle will always come of it.

There is a profound difference between conservatives and republicans. And liberals are not known for their thinking prowess....they didn't become known as the kings of unintended consequences for nothing.
