Because we have term limits for our president, and Russia does not.

We also have a lot of other freedoms and Constitutional guarantees that Russians don't have.

I don't envy Russians, not at all.

Nevertheless, there has to be a limit to Russians' patience with policies that are destroying their economy. Even the Soviet Union eventually fell apart for that reason.

Putin isn't nearly as likable. He has no charm, at all.

But what Putin does have is "crazy ruskie power" working for him. And that is a very strong ally. It makes me think of Kirk vs Khan.

Democracy vs Dictatorship... Democracy looks A LOT better on paper. But now that the system is so corrupt, dictatorship is better because you know what you're getting.

Like ability is nice for some things but not Leadership.

Yes because going to harvard, being head of the harvard law review, teaching at a respected college, being a state senator, then going to US Senator,and then being president...yea he did jack shit from the fairly poor place he started out in. you can't beat a single one of those things I bet.
