If you are interested in either photography or the Arab-Israeli conflict I can recommend the documentation "More Than 1000 Words" about Ziv Koren:

(German/Hebrew with English subtitles)

Ziv Koren is an Israeli photojournalist and shows the cruelties of the war. After serving in the Isreali army he became a renown photographer.

I think it is quite revealing in the clip when you see the armed Palestinian saying he lost his brothers and his mother and he has nothing else and there will never be a cease fire.

When the reality is the very government that they voted in are really responsible for his losses.

These people are truly barbaric and do not have the intelligence to see past their own exploitation!

From a humanitarian stance I am not saying these people deserve what they get. I am just saying they do not have the mind to see through their own exploitation.

Are you saying we should just stand back and let the law of 'survival of the fittest' take over?

No. I think that this conflict will last for a long time as too much violence happened on both sides. Additionally I believe that there are forces behind the scene (mainly on the Palestine side and forces supporting them) that are interested in this conflict never to end (politics).
The people on the street pay the price.

the arabs in the region have been the pawns of the arab countries in the ME for generations. They would be delighted to bury the hatchet and get along but those behind the endless assaults on Israel cant have that and so the missiles will fly, the suicide bombers will sell their souls so their families might eat and the insanity will not stop. I dont even think they can stop it by standing up to the imported guerrillas. They will kill them if they try. No win possible for them.
